1The church prayeth for the king's good success in the day of trouble, 6and expresseth a confidence in God's succour.

1 THE aLORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the bname of the God of Jacob 1defend thee;

4 eGrant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will frejoice in thy salvation, and gin the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that hthe LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him 5from his holy heaven 6with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some itrust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will jremember the name of the LORD our God.
