Psalms 43

The Psalmist praying God to judge his cause, and restore him to his temple, promiseth to serve him joyfully there: 5he encourageth his soul to trust in God.

JUDGEa me, O God, and plead my cause against an 1ungodly nation: O deliver me 2from the deceitful and unjust man.

For thou art bthe God of my strength: cwhy dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

O send out dthy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy eholy hill, and to fthy tabernacles.

Then gwill I go unto the altar of God, unto God 3my exceeding joy: yea, hupon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

Why iart thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
