Isaiah 12

A joyful thanksgiving of the faithful for the mercies of God.


1 AND ain that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: bthough thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

2 Behold, cGod is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for dthe LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

3 eTherefore with joy shall ye draw fwater out of the wells of salvation.

4 And gin that day shall ye say, hPraise the LORD, 1call upon ihis name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

5 jSing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: kthis is known in all the earth.

6 lCry out and shout, thou 2inhabitant of Zion: for mgreat is nthe Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
