For thou ghadst cast me into the deep, in the 3midst of the seas; and the hfloods *compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.

Then I said, iI am cast out of thy sight; yet I will jlook again toward thy holy temple.

The kwaters *compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.

I went down to the 4bottoms of the mountains; the earth with lher bars was about me for ever: myet hast thou brought up my life from 5corruption, O LORD my God.

When nmy soul ofainted within me pI remembered the LORD: and qmy prayer came in unto thee, into thine rholy temple.

They that sobserve lying vanities forsake ttheir own mercy.
