Jude 1
1After a general address, Jude exhorteth Christians to constancy in the received faith. 4He foretelleth the punishment of certain false teachers crept into the church, and describeth their evil doctrine and manners. 20He exhorteth true Christians to persevere in the right faith, and in the love of God; 22and to seek the reformation of others. 24He concludeth with ascribing glory to God.
1 JUDE,a the bservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of cJames, to them that dare sanctified by God the Father, and epreserved in Jesus Christ, and fcalled:
2 gMercy unto you, and hpeace, and love, be multiplied.

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the icommon salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that jye should earnestly contend for kthe faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men lcrept in unawares, who mwere before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, nturning the grace of our God into *lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 qEven as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after 2strange flesh, rare set forth for an example, suffering sthe vengeance of eternal fire.

8 tLikewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet uMichael the varchangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the wbody of Moses, xdurst not bring against him a *railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 yBut these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, zin those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone ain the way of Cain, and bran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in cthe *gainsaying of Core.

13 gRaging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; hwandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

15 lTo execute judgment upon all, and to *convince all that are ungodly among them mof all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their nhard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 oThese are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; pand their mouth speaketh great swelling words, qhaving men's persons in *admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, rremember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you sthere should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19 tThese be they who separate themselves, usensual, vhaving not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, wbuilding up yourselves on your most holy faith, xpraying in the Holy *Ghost,
21 yKeep yourselves in the love of God, zlooking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 aAnd of some have compassion, making a difference:

23 bAnd others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; chating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
