Psalms 101

David maketh a vow and profession of godliness.

A Psalm of David.

I WILL asing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

I bwill behave myself wisely in a perfect way. cO when wilt thou come unto me? dI will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

I ewill set no 1wicked thing before mine eyes: fI hate the work of them that gturn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

A h*froward heart shall depart from me: I will not iknow a wicked person.

Whoso j*privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I kcut off: him lthat hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

mMine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh 2in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

He nthat worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies 3shall not tarry in my sight.

I owill early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from pthe city of the LORD.
