Psalms 147
1The Prophet exhorteth to praise God for the restoration of his afflicted church; 4for his infinite power and wisdom; 6for his different treatment of the meek, and of the wicked: 7for his providence over his creatures; 12for his blessings upon his church; 15for his power over the elements; 19and for the ordinances given to Israel.
1 PRAISE ye the LORD: afor it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

2 The bLORD doth build up Jerusalem: che gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3 He dhealeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their 1wounds.

5 fGreat is our Lord, and of great power: 2his understanding is infinite.
6 The gLORD lifteth up the meek: hhe casteth the wicked down to the ground.
