Psalms 26

David in confidence of his integrity resorteth unto God.

A Psalm of David.

JUDGE ame, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have btrusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

cExamine me, O LORD, and *prove me; try my *reins and my heart.

For dthy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and eI have walked in thy truth.

I fhave not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

I ghave hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

I hwill wash mine hands in innocency: iso will I *compass thine altar, O LORD:

That jI may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy kwondrous works.

LORD, lI have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place 1where thine honour dwelleth.

2Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with 3bloody men:

In mwhose hands is mischief, and their right hand is 4full of bribes.

But as for me, nI will walk in mine integrity: oredeem me, and be merciful unto me.

My pfoot standeth in an even place: qin the congregations will I bless the LORD.
