Psalms 33
1The faithful are called upon to praise God for his goodness; 6for his power seen in his works of creation, and in the stability of his counsel; 12and for his providence, 18and especial care over good men. 20Confidence is therefore to be placed in God.
1 REJOICE ain the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise bis comely for the upright.
2 cPraise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the *psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 Sing dunto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 For ethe word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 He floveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is gfull of the 1goodness of the LORD.

8 Let jall the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

11 The mcounsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart 3to all generations.
12 nBlessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath ochosen for his own inheritance.
13 The pLORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From qthe place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

17 An uhorse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
